VERINIO
GUIDE.
Verinio is an API platform for fetching media, extracting transcripts, and reading or cleaning file metadata — built for developers and AI agents, priced with credits that never expire.
What is Verinio?
Verinio is a hosted API platform that gives developers and AI agents three tools over plain HTTP: Fetch (download media from supported sources), Transcript (extract YouTube transcripts as TXT, SRT, VTT, or JSON), and Metadata (inspect, sanitize, or compress file metadata). Every request is authenticated with a Bearer API key and billed in credits — bought once in a pack, never expiring, and spent per request. Verinio exists so teams building automations, content pipelines, and AI agents don't have to run and maintain their own scraping, transcript, and metadata infrastructure.
